During WWII, George Son Lee (far left) was employed as a machinist at MARE ISLAND Navy Yard in Vallejo and retired there after 36 years of service. In the early 60's he met Bruce Lee and formed a friendship that resulted in the research and development of many of Bruce's training equipment.
